Our very kind flatmates took us to their home land and showed us around. What a beautiful place!! Blair was in paradise with the mountains and lakes.
We arrived on Friday and went out for dinner with Ulli's friend Bernhard and had a wee look around Salzberg and then we had a few drinks, we found it a bit hard to get used to the smoking in bars again.
Saturday we had good tour guides and showed us around the Fortess, The Dome and Mozart's birth place. We meet Thomas, Babs and Lino at the Spa and had a nice and relaxing night.
Sunday we had a look around Mondsee while Ulli went and saw her grandparents. Then we went and had a lovely lunch with the Strobl Family and ate way too much!! After lunch we went to the Bad Dürrnberg Saltmine, we were amazed about crossing the German boarder underground and we were given big chunks of red and white salt rocks.
Then off to Ulli's uncles for a another big dinner and lots of beer and wine and snapps. Lovely meal again. Woke up on Monday to snow and it looked so beautiful. Blair with his headache we packed up and started making our way back to Scotland. We had a fantistic time and enjoyed meeting Ulli and Markus's friends and family.
